Allen West: BLM ‘Is All About the Rule of the Mob…It Cannot Be Allowed to Exist’
By Craig Bannister | June 23, 2020
Black Lives Matter “is an organization that is supporting the undermining of our constitutional republic” and, as such, “cannot be allowed to exist” in a law-abiding society, retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel and Media Research Center Senior Fellow Allen West said Monday.
In an interview discussing his latest commentary, “A Black Man’s Letter to Black Lives Matter,” on “The Ingraham Angle,” West called it revealing that Democrats refuse to denounce Black Lives Matter, since it is dedicated to “the rule of the mob” – not the rule of law:
“I find it very interesting that you don’t have President Obama coming out and denouncing this organization. And, truthfully, you don’t have any Democrat leaders coming out and denouncing this organization.
“But, I think it’s also very important that we have Republicans stop being afraid, stop being concerned about being denigrated and castigated as a racist or things of this nature – and just come out and say exactly what needs to be said: this is an organization that is supporting the undermining of our constitutional republic.
“This organization does not deal with the rule of law. It is all about the rule of the mob. And, therefore, it cannot be allowed to exist when you think about the rule of law and what we stand for in this republic and the United States of America.”
Black Lives Matters leaders don’t just seek to remove President Donald Trump from office, they also openly advocate Marxism, West said. What’s more, they don’t care about the real issues facing black Americans, so U.S. corporations should stop allowing themselves to be extorted by the Marxist movement, West said:
“They also came out and said they were trained Marxists. And, that’s exactly what you see happening. So, I think that it’s very important that we stop having these corporations, to the tune of over $460 million, being extorted to support an organization such as Black Lives Matter who really do not care about those issues addressing the black community. They do not care about the economic opportunity zones. They don’t care about the educational scholarships. They don’t care about the decimation of the family.
“They want to talk about a genocide, then talk about the Planned Parenthood clinics – seventy percent plus – that are located in the black communities all across the United States of America. And, of course, Planned Parenthood was founded by an avowed white supremacist and a racist.
“So, I think that it’s about time that we do start to stand up and push back against these organizations and stop cowering to them.”
