The Republican National Hispanic Assembly of Florida is proud to endorse Darlene Swaffar for Congressional District 22, which covers Broward and Palm Beach Counties. Swaffar is not a politician but a mother to a 10-year-old son and is running to protect your children’s future. Swaffar’s 9th Great Uncle was Benjamin Franklin, which is our only forefather to sign all four founding documents.
Darlene Swaffar is of Puerto Rican decent and has served for 4 years as the Executive Director of the Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce of South FL, Broward Chapter.
Darlene Swaffar is highly decorated and has earned many honors including Small Business Administration TED Women’s Center “Business Growth Award”, Monarch Care, “Connector’s Award, Fort Lauderdale Finest Honoree, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Winner of the 2001 VISTA Award, NAWB, In Focus Magazine’s” Technology Summit of the Americas, Year 2000 Latin Business & Technology Award.
Swaffar has over 10 years of successfully running an insurance agency and became a medicare expert. She opened the first of it’s kind brick and mortar retail store to serve our Seniors with their Medicare offering them many choices in the convenience of one appointment. She has assisted the Women’s Chamber of Commerce with business workshops for entrepreneurs, business networking events, educational seminars, and scholarship fundraising. She is an extremely knowledgeable and dedicated businesswoman who cares deeply for her community.
Darlene Swaffar is running to protect our Constitutional rights that are under attack like the Second Amendment. The Democrats’ agenda is hurting our image on the world stage, our ability to negotiate trade deals and advance peace talks. Swaffar will take a stand with President Trump to advance the America First Agenda. She will promote and create diverse job opportunities so that Florida is less dependent on tourism or cyclical business. She will reform the education systems to provide job mentorship programs and finical literacy throughout the school system.
Swaffar will also advance Medicare for our seniors. Her background in insurance provides her with the insight and skills that we need to fix our broken healthcare system. Swaffar will fight lobbying that diverts attention away from American interests. Swaffar will explore lowering drug costs so that they are comparable to Canadian and European prices and hold big pharma accountable. She also plans to help our Veterans with housing and mental help support. On average 22 Veterans commit suicide every day. She is going to introduce legislation that will help veterans get the support they need.
