Joe Biden trends on Twitter after awkward name blunder

Youtuber and Commentator Daisy Cousens says US President Joe Biden has his own hashtag, which is ‘#ThatFellaDownUnder’. It comes as Mr Biden slipped up in calling Prime Minister Scott Morrison ‘that fella down under’ after forgetting his name while announcing the trilateral security partnership with Australia and the United Kingdom.

“This has gone down really not well at all; people are just going what the hell is this? He even has his own hashtag, hashtag that fella down under, has been trending all day, way up the top of Australian Twitter, it’s particularly awkward” Ms Cousens told Sky News host Andrew Bolt. “After watching Biden be president for these past few months, the cognitive decline is inescapable, it is very awkward, it is very, very sad. “No one likes an old man be doddery and forget names and fall up stairs and sort of not seem to know where he is, no one likes watching that. “In all seriousness, we are seeing the decline of a very old man, who in these hugely high-pressure situations, it’s going to get worse.”
