There was one silver lining from online instruction during the pandemic. It revealed to parents that critical race theory was being pushed on their children. But even though pandemic closures and protocols are ending, parents and concerned citizens must remain vigilant.
We need to know if our children are being educated or indoctrinated.
In the wake of the pandemic came a $200 billion relief fund for schools. One report suggests that $78 billion to $123 billion could be spent on activities unrelated to COVID-19.
You can bet your last tax dollar that activists are working behind the scenes to channel vast sums of that money towards critical race theory and political activism.
These people hide their ideological brainwashing with the language of “diversity and inclusion.” But parents aren’t fooled. A glance at school websites shows that school officials are pushing political activism and ideology onto our children.
- In Loudoun County, Virginia, an invoice specifies “critical race theory training.”
- In Mishawaka, Indiana, in the Penn-Harris-Madison School District, a “pyramid of white supremacy” was being used that showed “colorblindness” and “funding schools locally” leads to “genocide.”
It is clear that CRT is being taught, and has become pervasive in America’s public schools.
School administrators can deny the presence of CRT all they want, but it is baked into so much of what is being taught in our schools. And it is widespread. Unless parents, grandparents, and concerned citizens push back, it will continue and get worse…
There’s little oversight of the “diversity industry” yet the harm it spreads will be with our kids and our society for years, turning our society’s healthy pluralism into toxic and divisive identity politics. We cannot allow COVID school relief funds to expand CRT’s presence in our schools.
