The Los Angeles Unified School District required its staff to participate in “socioemotional learning” training that involved educators agreeing to use students’ preferred gender pronouns.
A district staff member said the training consisted of “critical social justice gender ideology.” During the training, staff members were called to “raise our hands if we could commit to using preferred pronouns and STAND UP if we commit to using trans students’ preferred names.”
If staff failed to stand up, the staff member explained, “it was an obvious sign that you’re problematic and bigoted and in the wrong.” Read More Here…
Georgetown Day School (GDS), an elite independent PK-12 private school in Washington, D.C., communicated their Critical Race Theory-based “anti-racist journey” which began May 2020 to the school’s board of trustees, faculty, staff, parents and students via the school’s multiple media platforms including the school’s Georgetown Days magazine.
The issue was entitled: “A year like no other” and included a four-page infographic documenting the school’s “anti-racist journey” over the course of the 2020-21 school year. Read More Here…
School District Hosted An Event Open To ‘Priority Families Only,’ Separating Attendees By Skin Color
A Massachusetts public school district held an event for families that gave priority to certain demographics such as “families of color,” according to a flyer advertising the event. Cambridge Public Schools held an event “to help Cambridge families get ready for summer” on March 26, according to the flyer.
The first 90 minutes of the event were “open to priority families only,” the flyer said. They defined “Priority families” as “families of color, free/reduced lunch, families who have a child with disabilities and families whose first language is not english.” The final two hours of the event were “open to all families,” the flyer said.
