White people from the suburbs, PARENTS,Business owners, employed are the people the Biden administration is now targeting for investigation and prosecution for domestic terrorism.
The Justice Department announced the creation of a “specialized unit focused on domestic terrorism” last week, a move that it says will “augment” their “existing approach” to domestic “extremism.”
“We have seen a growing threat,” Assistant Attorney General Matthew Olson said, “from those who ascribe to extremist anti-government and anti-authority ideologies.”
Olson did not give any specific examples of whom specifically the DOJ will be targeting, but earlier in the week, former FBI Director Andrew McCabe told a panel at the University of Chicago’s Institute for Politics exactly who he thought federal law enforcement agencies should be targeting.
“I’m fairly confident from what little we’ve heard from the FBI that they have reallocated resources and repositioned some of their counterterrorism focus to increase their focus on right-wing extremism and domestic violent extremists,” McCabe said. “They didn’t assume that that group of people, business owners, white people from the suburbs, educated, employed, presented a threat of violence, and now we know very clearly that they do,” he continued, referencing those who participated in the Jan. 6 riot.
Business owners. White people from the suburbs. The employed. These are the people the Biden administration is now targeting for investigation and prosecution for domestic terrorism.
Oh — and parents too.
Also last week, the conservative watchdog Parents Defending Education obtained emails from the National School Boards Association showing that Education Secretary Miguel Cardona himself had asked the NSBA to produce its letter comparing parents protesting at school board meetings to domestic terrorists. Attorney General Merrick Garland then turned around and used that very letter to justify a memo directing the FBI to investigate parents who dared to defy the authorities at local school board meetings.
Left-wing activists can terrorize Republican senators at their homes and in the streets, and the FBI won’t lift a finger. But heaven forbid that a parent should speak out against critical race theory at a school board meeting. In that case, the Biden domestic terrorism task force will be at your door.
