Republican Candidate David Fegan Speaks in Area Schools

David Fegan, a twenty-five-year-old Republican candidate for US Congress from Colleyville, TX, has been making the rounds speaking in area schools and other groups in the 24th District of Texas. 

Mr. Fegan’s speeches and his time spent with area students focus on the need to instill integrity and honesty in our government and its leaders, maintaining the Second Amendment regarding gun ownership, reducing the ever-expanding and dangerous national debt, repairing health care, reducing the size of government, and enforcing the laws regarding immigration while endorsing and support legal immigration. 

Also, Mr. Fegan is a strong advocate of education and supports our ongoing efforts to enable teachers and administrators to direct the educational process with supervision and support given by local school boards rather than allowing the federal government to dictate policy to local districts. 

Mr. Fegan recently visited a school in Grapevine, TX, whose students face significant challenges with a variety of learning disabilities. Students in the 24th District are responding enthusiastically to his presentations and are inspired by his candidacy for the US Congress.
