Good News
April 21, 2023
Dear Patriots,
Here is good news to send you into a wonderful spring weekend.
1- Any victory that the right can gain in a court these days is worth noting.
Victory for Republicans as a judge rules they can subpoena ex-Manhattan prosecutor Mark Pomerantz
QUOTE: The Manhattan district attorney’s attempt to block a former prosecutor from testifying in Congress about efforts to prosecute Donald Trump failed on Wednesday, with a judge ruling that Mark Pomerantz could be called to testify.
Pomerantz worked for years on the Trump investigation, but left the job after clashing with Alvin Bragg, the district attorney, over the direction of the case.
He recently wrote a book about his work pursuing Trump and discussed the investigation in interviews on 60 Minutes and other shows.
Jordan sought Pomerantz’s testimony, but Bragg sued to block it.
Bragg’s lawyer, Theodore Boutrous, argued that seeking Pomerantz’s testimony was part of a ‘transparent campaign to intimidate and attack’ Bragg and that Congress was ‘invading a state’ to investigate a local prosecutor when it had no authority to do so.
On Wednesday, Bragg was overruled.
U.S. District Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil rejected Bragg’s request for a temporary restraining order, finding that Jordan had a valid legislative purpose in issuing the subpoena to Pomerantz.
‘It is not the role of the federal judiciary to dictate what legislation Congress may consider or how it should conduct its deliberations in that connection,’ Vyskocil wrote in a 25-page opinion.
‘Mr Pomerantz must appear for the congressional deposition. No one is above the law.’
2- Finally, the FDA is backing off on the dangerous Covid-CCP injections.
The FDA is raising the white flag on the mRNA Covid shots.
QUOTE: Unvaccinated adults will no longer be offered more than a single mRNA dose. (Tell that to the 230 million Americans who already took two.) And almost no one under 65 is eligible for a second booster.
The Food and Drug Administration just all-but-gave up on mRNA Covid jabs.
Wednesday afternoon, under the guise of “simplify(ing)” the Covid vaccination schedule, the FDA ended the two-dose mRNA vaccination regimen for unvaccinated people.
Americans who have not yet been vaccinated can now receive only a single dose of the newer “bivalent” vaccines, which supposedly work better against the Omicron strain -though real-world evidence of their improved effectiveness is nearly nonexistent.
It is hard to overstate the importance of this change, which effectively undoes more than two years of public health guidance on the importance of the two-dose mRNA regimen.
The change is even bigger than it appears. Each dose of the Moderna bivalent vaccine contains only half as much as mRNA as the original Moderna shot. So people who receive the Moderna vaccine will get only one-quarter as much mRNA as the original dosing schedule, 50 micrograms instead of 200.
(Pfizer’s booster contains 30 micrograms of mRNA, the same as the original dose, so the Pfizer regimen has been cut only in half.)
The change comes as demand for the mRNAs has collapsed, not just in the United States but worldwide. Only about 1 in 9,000 Americans is now receiving a Covid shot each day – and only about 1 in 40,000 Germans.
3- Proving that real news is leaking out past the censors.
Rasmussen Poll: Majority Think Feds Provoked 1/6
QUOTE: A 65% majority of likely voters now believe that undercover federal agents provoked the Jan. 6, 2021, breach of the U.S. Capitol Building, according to a new Rasmussen poll.
In late February, prior to Fox News host Tucker Carlson’s airing of security footage, 61% thought it was likely that government agents secretly operating in the crowds provoked the unrest.
According to the poll, 46% say it is very likely that federal agents incited the crowd to the point of clashing with law enforcement and storming the Capitol when Congress was in the process of certifying the 2020 election results.
The issue of anti-Trump government agents agitating behind the scenes appears to have bipartisan support among those polled.
“Seventy-four percent (74%) of Republicans believe it is at least somewhat likely that undercover government agents helped provoke the Capitol riot, as do 59% of Democrats and 62% of voters not affiliated with either major party,” the survey analysis read.
Government officials have long denied playing a role in the events of Jan. 6. The Department of Justice has charged approximately 1,000 protestors and said it plans to charge hundreds more. Some of the defendants have been sentenced to years in prison.
4- While it seems that no one agrees with a conservative, Christian approach to life and politics, we see that even in the world many reject the murdering of infants.
UN Plan to Promote Abortion Worldwide Fails When 22 Pro-Life Nations Object
QUOTE: The fifty-sixth annual United Nations Commission on Population and Development ended abruptly on Friday, April 14, in New York City. The Commission ended with a thud, not a bang, and turned the entire weeks-long process into an exercise in futility.
Why?
There was not enough sex and abortion in the plan of action’s draft document, and the EU, USA, and Canada inserted radical and never before agreed upon language to begin making Comprehensive Sexual Education (CSE) a human right. National Right to Life vehemently opposes CSE because it would allow minor children to seek abortion providers without their parent’s knowledge or consent.
Once this far-reaching pro-abortion language was added, twenty-two countries, representing over 1 billion people, withdrew their support of the document. The negotiations then spiraled into chaos – if the plan of action is to move forward, the United Nations requires total consensus of all voting member states.
At one point, the Pakistani delegation stated that the largest crisis children are currently facing is that because of the fallout from COVID, nearly 100 million children worldwide are not being schooled. That statement was immediately followed by a retort from the Dutch delegation claiming that the REAL crisis is the lack of Comprehensive Sexual Education.
You can’t make this up.
5- It is not bad policy to be Pro-Life.
62% of Florida Residents Supported Heartbeat Law DeSantis Signed Protecting Babies From Abortion
QUOTE: To hear it from Democrats, the liberal media and even some Republicans, the pro-life cause is political suicide.
They falsely claim that the Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade killed Republicans at the polls last year and will be a death knell for election hopes in 2024. Never mind that every pro-life governor who signed an abortion ban was re-elected despite Democrats threatening to defeat them all and raising hundreds of millions to do so.
Last week, pro-life Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed a heartbeat law to protect babies from abortions starting at 6 weeks when their heartbeat is detectable. Since he signed the law, some Republicans say the law goes too far because it will hurt DeSantis or hurt Republicans in general during the 2024 elections.
But polling shows the heartbeat law is right in line with the views of Florida residents.
Not only do a majority of Floridians support protecting babies from abortion, they support the heartbeat law by a strong 62% margin.
Key poll findings include:
• 62% of Floridians support legislation to protect unborn babies when a heartbeat is detected, with exceptions for rape, incest and life of the mother.
• 61% of Independents and 58% of women surveyed support such legislation.
• Hispanic voters were even more likely than others to support the legislation, at 76%
• Only 22% of likely voters support allowing abortion until the moment of birth.
