Maxine Waters: ‘I Will Never, Ever Forgive’ Blacks Who Vote for ‘Deplorable’ Trump

“It is absolutely unconscionable” that a Black American would vote for President Donald Trump, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) says.
Supporting Trump is so “shameful” that she will never forgive Blacks who do so, Rep. Waters warned in a recent interview with radio Host Joe Madison on his SiriusXM program:
“I will never ever forgive them for undermining the possibility to help their own people and their own communities. It is absolutely unconscionable. It is shameful.”
Prominent Blacks who publicly support Pres. Trump’s reelection include former NFL great Herschel Walker, commentator and BLEXIT leader Candice Owens and Democrat Georgia State Rep. Vernon Jones. According to Rasmussen Reports polling, nearly one in three Black voters support Pres. Trump.
Echoing 2016 candidate Hillary Clinton’s “basket of deplorables” characterization of Trump supporters, Rep. Waters said she simply cannot fathom why any Black American would vote for such a “deplorable human being” as Pres. Trump:
“I don’t even know where any blacks would be coming from that would be voting for Trump. It just hurts me so bad to see Blacks talking about supporting Trump.
“I don’t know why they would be doing it. I don’t know what’s on their minds. But if we don’t turn out this vote and turn it out huge, this man could end up winning again. And this country would go backward.
“The divisiveness that this deplorable human being has caused, the confrontation, the dog-whistling to the right-wing, the white supremacists, the KKK, and they are coming alive.”
In actuality, Pres. Trump has publicly and repeatedly condemned white supremacist groups, such as the KKK.
