Rising Number of Illegals Busting Through Biden’s Border

Between Friday and Monday Customs and Border Protection has encountered more than 35,000 illegals on the southern U.S. border, according to Fox News reporter Bill Melugin on Tuesday.
That’s nearly 9,000 each day.

The recent rising surge of migrants at an El Paso port of entry forced officials to halt all cargo operations at the Bridge of The Americas (BOTA) so officers can help Border Patrol.

According to a CPB news release:
The temporary suspension at BOTA will allow CBP’s Office of Field Operations officers to assist the U.S. Border Patrol in processing noncitizens who have arrived between the ports of entry including vulnerable populations like families and unaccompanied children. CBP regularly plans for and executes contingency measures, such as this, to support the overarching agency mission and ensure the safety and wellbeing of those in the agency’s custody.
The BOTA closing took effect Monday and there is no mention of when, if ever, it may reopen.
Some reports claim that the swarm of illegals crossing into the U.S. is a tactic used by Mexican cartels meant to overwhelm border agents, in order for drug and human smuggling operations to operate more freely in other areas.
There has been no official comment on the recent surge from “Biden Border Czar” Kamala Harris. Somewhere, cackling has been heard from the Vice President’s office – but it may be unrelated.
