Legendary Australian Cricket player Shane Warne died of a suspected heart attack at 52.

Shane was found unresponsive in his hotel room in Koh Samui, Thailand, according to a statement from his management company.

“It is with great sadness we advise that Shane Keith Warne passed away of a suspected heart attack,” MPC said in a statement, according to NBC. “Despite the best efforts of medical staff, he could not be revived. The family requests privacy at this time and will provide further details in due course.”

Mere hours before he died, Shane Warne posted a tribute to another legendary cricketer, Rod Marsh, who also just died of a heart attack.

Australian cricketer Shane Warne, one of the finest spin bowlers of all time whose talent and personality transcended the sport, died aged 52 on Friday.

Warne, who ended his spell-binding international career in 2007 with a remarkable 708 test wickets, died from a suspected heart attack in Koh Samui, Thailand, his family confirmed in a statement.

“Shane was found unresponsive in his Villa and despite the best efforts of medical staff, he could not be revived,” the statement read.

“The family requests privacy at this time and will provide further details in due course.”

We are devastated to hear the news that former Hampshire Cricket captain and legend Shane Warne has passed away.
