We won this battle because of you

We won this battle because of you

OBIDEN – HARRIS – BOLD FACED LIARS

I have some exciting news for you — parents are winning!

Thanks to your support, Parents Defending Education scored another big win against the “woke” takeover of our schools.

Parents Defending Education’s (PDE) lawsuit against Wellesley Public Schools (WPS) in Massachusetts ended in a settlement agreement which will end the school’s race-based segregation of its “affinity groups.”

In the future, the district will no longer message to students that they are excluded from events based on their skin color – something they should never have been doing in the first place!

This settlement sends a clear message that racially segregating students in our public schools is wrong – and that there will be consequences.

Parents Defending Education relies on the aid of faithful supporters like you to fight and win these costly legal battles on behalf of our children. Please consider a donation of $25, $50, $100, $250, $500, or more today to help us continue this work.

This win comes as a big victory.

It’s appalling that an American public school consciously implemented a policy singling out students based on race and ethnicity in the first place.

The lawsuit also forced Wellesley Public Schools to end their authoritarian “Bias Reporting Procedure,” which gave school administrators the power to censor — and even punish — speech that they interpret as “offensive” or presented “conscious or unconscious bias.”

It was a ridiculous policy – because it was nearly undefinable which speech would be targeted. This type of overly broad ban on only some types of speech, which goes directly against the First Amendment, has been replaced and will never be reinstated.

It’s a huge victory for parents and students — but there is still more work ahead of us. Will you give a gift of $25, $50, $100, $250, $500 or more today so PDE can continue to exposing and litigating these harmful practices in our schools?

These types of wins are never isolated events.

A win like this could spur cases elsewhere — or, better yet, give other districts like Wellesley a reason to change their policies before they get served with lawsuits.

Our kids’ educational experience should nurture their development into happy, resilient, free-thinking, and educated citizens.

If it doesn’t, we’ll be in the wings, ready to stand alongside brave supporters like you who are eagerly fighting for students.

We are making great progress, but we still have a lot of battles ahead of us.

These lawsuits take a lot of time and money — but it’s absolutely worth it to give our children better lives.

Stand up for students by standing with PDE today. Take part in this critical fight for student rights. Become a supporter by making a contribution of $25, $50, $100, $250, $500, or more.

As any quality education will teach, racial segregation was, and will always be, deeply wrong.

We will not stand aside as our children are subjected to segregation rearing its ugly head in 2022.

But we can’t fight for your children without your partnership.

Thank you for doing everything you can for our nation’s children today.
