Divide et Impera
Our fantastic, amazing United States is being divided and conquered from within our borders. Initiated by the massive disinformation campaign waged against President Donald Trump, and We the People. When you check the Presidential Poll on Rassmussen it demonstrates 50% in Favor and 49% Disapproving. Our country can’t be more divided.
When and how did the Divide happen, who is behind this schism? For what purpose?
A history of this political and sociological practice, of using propaganda to divide and conquer, reaches far back into the annals of the worlds history. While attributed originally to Phillip II of Macedon, it is more widely held that it was Julius Caesar and Napoleon that utilized that phrase in warfare as a strategic military action, as well as a social construct to feed disinformation, and misinformation to the enemy.
Well, of course, we aren’t in the Holy Roman Empire, however, this practice, in my opinion, has begun come into full view, here in the 21st century.
Part of the Divide et impera concept is to weaken a strong base because propaganda is readily disseminated and utilized to raise doubts about the efficacy of the party in Power. This is done with military alliances as well as regimes. Currently, the hoax of an Impeachment Process is this strategy on full display.
What is happening, propaganda is being spewed out daily by the conglomerate News Agencies that drone endlessly on in the homes of most Americans! Mutually agreed upon “stories” regurgitated by countless beautiful people on “free TV”. Forbes indicated 15 Billionaires Own Americas News Companies (Forbes, June 2016). It doesn’t matter WHO they are, it matters that THEY control the News Companies. We already know from Project Veritas undercover true whistleblower that CNN controls the stories about President Trump, and certainly not in a favorable or even objective manner. Evidenced by the loathing of their CEO Jeff Zucker, in that covert recording. (Project Veritas CNN)
Rupert Murdoch’s (News Corp) family controls 120 newspapers across five Countries. The Cox Family, Cox Enterprises 14 Broadcast TV stations and a local Cable channel along with 59 radio stations. The list goes on, but the group still controls most of what is seen and heard to the average American Household.
If you wanted to “divide” a country, a great method would be to
target an audience that leans heavily on the major stations to spew their journalism. The constant barrage of the same slanted and biased presentation of what actually tries to pass as news bombards households daily. It is no longer news but propaganda. A working definition of propaganda is “the spreading of ideas, information, or rumor for the purpose of helping or injuring an institution, a cause, or a person.” If you haven’t been under a rock for the past 11 years, you have seen this used by the Media, both to help Barack Obama and hurt Donald Trump.
In my recollection, the first divisive incident was when then President Obama commented on the Henry Louis Gates, Jr.’s arrest. Stating
” …that the Cambridge police acted stupidly in arresting somebody when there was already proof that they were in their own home, and, number three, what I think we know separate and apart from this incident is that there’s a long history in this country of African Americans and Latinos being stopped by law enforcement disproportionately. That’s just a fact”
Coming from the highest office in the country, and supported by the media, this started to increase the rift and division of our country. While it might have been a “fact,” our President was supposed to be above race. This continued to fuel the racial tensions between Law Enforcement and the Minority Communities igniting the flames : Ferguson, Trayvon Martin, Baltimore riots and on July 7, 2016, the ambushing of police officers in Dallas, Texas where Micah Xavier Johnson killed 5 officers and injuring nine others. The division was growing, wider and wider. Divide Et Impera had deepened.
So here we are, 2019, and the division deepens. Almost 3 years of investigations, allegations, smears and down right lies, hurled at Donald Trump and our country is almost equally divided. Even the sham of impeachment hearings demonstrates the continued strategy of disinformation, lies, perjury, but with the full spotlight shining from the local affiliates and the major Networks shows that the propaganda continues.
So who is behind this propaganda attack? Many would say the “Deep State” (which is called a conspiracy theory but main stream media), The Globalists, The New World Order (NWO), or simply the wealthiest elite. President Trump does not need the elites money, he is certainly not a globalist, and has readily alienated the Intelligence Community (some say the foundation for the Deep State), so it could be very well, any or all of those players.
In effect you are being forced to choose a side. One side that might wear a red cap that says Make America Great Again, and be labeled a racist, sexist, xenophobe, homophobe, supremacist, or the other side, that is the side hurling those epithets at the calm, unwavering cap wearers. Regardless, Divide Et Impera is obviously in play, unfortunately this is not ancient Rome, but the glorious United States of America.
